Yagyu Munenori

Yagyu Tajima no kami Munenori (柳生 但馬守宗矩 1571-1646) is a legendary swordsman who founded a swordsmanship tradition called "Yagyu". This was the official tradition taught under the Tokugawa shogunate. He is known to have taught sword fighting to Ieyasu's child.
