The Horse and His Boy is a book in C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia fantasy series. It is the fifth published, but the third in chronological order.

In this story, a slave boy named Shasta comes across a talking horse named Bree. Together, they flee towards Narnia and freedom.
