The Harder They Come (soundtrack)

From Wacklepedia - The Free Encyclopedia

The soundtrack to the film The Harder They Come was released in 1973 (see 1973 in music). It was recorded by reggae singer Jimmy Cliff; for many western listeners, The Harder They Come was their first experience with reggae music.

In spite of its influence, The Harder They Come's chart sales were low. It peaked on Billboard's (North America) Pop Albums chart at #140.
