The Gophers is a British animation series with puppets. It was created by Channel 4 in the late 1980s or early 1990s. It was also broadcast by the Dutch VPRO.

There are other meanings of gopher, though the core meaning is a rodent, strictly of the family Geomyidae though some ground squirrels of the family Sciuridae are often referred to as gophers
