Steven Weinberg (b.
1933)
American physicist, who, together with
Abdus Salam and
Sheldon Glashow formulated the
electroweak force theory. He won the
Nobel Prize in
Physics in
1979. He is the author of a 3 volume book titled Quantum Theory of Fields.
