St?a

From Wacklepedia - The Free Encyclopedia

St?a is a small town near Rapperswil, Switzerland located on the north bank of the lake of Zurich. In the local dialect it is called St?e.

The villages of Kehlhof and Uerikon are politically part of the town. St?a is linked with the German poet Goethe who once stayed overnight in the town.

The town is well known for its cultural centre R?sli, located near the lake shore. Wine production is still great, particularly white wine (Riesling).
