Sporting de Gijón is a Spanish football team from Asturias formed on June 1 1905. It is currently playing in the Segunda División.

Known as the Rojiblancos because of their red and white strip, they play in the El Molinón stadium.

• Primera División runner up in 1979.
• Copa del Rey finalist in 1981 and 1982.
