Solar Age
From Wacklepedia - The Free Encyclopedia
In
astrology, the
Solar Age is identified with the sign (or "house") of the
zodiac that contains the
Sun at the moment of the
vernal equinox. This location describes a slow apparent circle through the sky due to
precession of the equinoxes, with each age lasting one-twelfth of the complete rotation, or approximately 2,100 years. The current Age of
Pisces, which began around the time of
Christ, depending on where along the
Ecliptic the division between the
Constellations of
Aquarius and
Pisces is set, is due to end around AD 2100, when the apparent point of vernal equinox precedes across the dividing line into the constellation
Aquarius. The Age of Pisces will be replaced by the Age of Aquarius.
