Sherington

Sherington is a
village in the
Unitary District of Milton Keynes,
England. It is located just north west of
Newport Pagnell, by the A509.
The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'Scira's estate'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as Serintone.
The parish church is dedicated to St Laud.
