Saint-Eustache is a city in western
Quebec, west of
Montreal on the southwestern end of the
Rivi?e des Mille-?es. Population (2001 census) 40,378.
A significant battle of the Patriotes revolt was fought here on December 14, 1837; the Patriotes were defeated and the town burnt.
