S-42 Street Shuttle is a connecting train between

Manhattan,
New York City. It is part of the original IRT line from
1904.
Shuttle trains are 2-, 3- or 4-cars long. They run every 2-3 minutes at rush hour, 5 during the day. There is no shuttle service from 12:00 am to 6:00 am. During those hours, crosstown riders must take the 7-Flushing Local.

- Times Square (A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, 1, 2, 3, 9) Port Authority Bus Terminal
