Port Phillip Bay

Port Philip Bay is a large bay in southern Victoria, Australia. Melbourne, Victoria's capital city, is located at its northern end. Melbourne's suburbs extend around much of the eastern shoreline, and Geelong is located on Corio Bay which is a sub-bay (??) in the southwestern section.

The entrance to the bay is very narrow, and large ships require expert guidance to enter and exit.
