A popper is a jalapeno pepper which has been covered in cream or cheddar cheese sauce and then breaded - a popular treat for fast-food aficionados of Sonic Drive-In and Arby's Fast-food restaurants.

It is also the surname of philosopher Karl Popper and the singular of the drug poppers.
