An Mh?/em> in Irish) is a county in the Republic of Ireland. Area: 2344 km? (905 square miles). Population (census 2002): 133,936. The county town is Navan.
Meath was once a province of Ireland in its own right, but now forms part of Leinster. The High King of Ireland sat at Tara.
