Maurice Yameogo

Maurice Yameogo (Koudougou, Burkina Faso, 1921 — Ouagadougou, 1993) was Burkina Faso Politician and became the first president of Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso).

He studied in the Small Seminar of Pabr?to became a catholic priest, but lost his sacerdotal vocation when he met F?icit?Zagr?who later became his wife.
