• A castle built by the Teutonic Knights in Prussia, that soon developed into a city in the Province of Prussia, from 1309 to 1466 the capital of the Teutonic Order state. Nowadays known as Malbork in Poland.

• A town in Niederalfingen, Germany.

• An abbey built near the ruins of a Roman fortress near Trier, Germany.

• A castle in Hanover.
