Louella Parsons
From Wacklepedia - The Free Encyclopedia
Louella Rose Oettinger Parsons (born
August 6,
1881 in Freeport,
Illinois, died
December 9,
1972 in
Santa Monica,
California) was a Hollywood gossip columnist who became almost as famous as the people about whom she wrote. Arch-rival of
Hedda Hopper. Parsons wrote her final article in 1964.
- The birth date needs to be qualified, as Parsons claimed, probably inaccurately, that she was born in 1893.
