Lichtenberg

Lichtenberg is a
borough of
Berlin. In 2001, it was merged with the former borough of Hohensch?hausen; the resulting borough retained the name Lichtenberg.
It encompasses an area of 52.29 km? and has, as of 2003, about 260,200 inhabitants.
Its current mayor is Christina Emmrich (
PDS).
