Ikurrina

The Ikurrina is the nation symbol of Euskadi, or the Basque country. The Irurrina has a white cross and a green X across a red background. The white cross represents Catholicism, the green X represents the Oak of Guernica, and the red background represents the blood shed by the Basques to achieve independance.
