Haxby

Haxby is a village in the
unitary authority of
City of York, on the
River Foss, to the north of
York, Yorkshire and south of
Strensall.
Haxby was a Danish settlement in the Ancient Forest of Galtres. Haxby Hall was demolished in 1960. The village became a Conservation Area in 1977.
