Hasan Cengic

Hasan Čengić, former deputy prime minister and defense minister of Muslim government of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Had extensive links with the Islamic r?ime of Iran, travelled to the country repeatedly since the 1980s. Convicted in 1983 along with Alija Izetbegovic for attempting to formet religious intolerance and the removal of Serbs and Croats from Bosnia. Fired in 1996 by Izetbegovic under pressure from the US Government as a condition for the Train and Equip program aimed at arming the Federation (Muslim-Croat) Army.
