Haltitunturi

The Haltitunturi mountain is the highest point in Finland, at 1328 m above sea level. It is located in the municipality of Lapland.

The name derives from "haltia" and "tunturi" haltia meaning spirit or "holder" and tunturi being the generic Lapp term for a hill or mountain.
