Gunnar

In Norse mythology, Gunnar was a hero who had tried to rescue the Valkyrie Br?nehilde but failed. Sigurd then tried and succeeded, in the shape of Gunnar. After Sigurd married Brynhildr, he left her for Gunnar's sister, Gudrun.
