Garam masala

From Wacklepedia - The Free Encyclopedia

Garam masala is a blend of dry-roasted ground spices common in Indian cuisine. There are many variants, but garam masala usually contains black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, chiles, cumin, nutmeg, and fennel (but may contain other spices as well). It can be used during cooking or as an addition afterwards, sprinkled on top.
