Freidorf

Freidorf (German for "Free village") is a suburb of the Romanian city of Timisoara. The famous swimmer Johnny Weissmuller was born there. He used to swim at the Bega River, which crosses Timisoara. Johhny Weissmuller later became famous for playing the role of Tarzan. Freidorf maintains a beautiful architecture, old German homes, and lots of green spaces.
