Foreign relations of Cambodia

The RCG has established diplomatic relations with most countries, including the
United States. Cambodia does not have diplomatic relations with the
Republic of Korea. The RGC is a member of most major international organizations, including the
United Nations and its specialized agencies such as the
World Bank and
International Monetary Fund. The RGC is an
Asian Development Bank (ADB) member, a member of
ASEAN, and is in the process of securing membership in the
WTO.
Disputes - international:
Offshore islands and sections of the boundary with Vietnam are in dispute; maritime boundary with Vietnam not defined; parts of border with Thailand are indefinite; maritime boundary with Thailand not clearly defined
Illicit drugs:
Transshipment site for Golden Triangle heroin; possible money laundering; narcotics-related corruption reportedly involving some in the government, military, and police; possible small-scale opium, heroin, and amphetamine production; large producer of cannabis for the international market
