Doric Greek

From Wacklepedia - The Free Encyclopedia

Doric Greek is an ancient dialect of the Greek language. It preserves long a where other dialects change it to ?/em>, as in ga mat? "earth mother" (Attic and Koin?g?m??), and preserves original -ti endings that Attic changed to -si (3rd person plural -onti, Attic/Koin?-ousi).
