David of Trebizond

David Commenus ruled the Empire of Trebizond from 1459 to 1461. In 1461 Trebizond was conquered by the Ottoman Empire. David and nearly all other male Commenuses were put to death by the Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire.
