Copenhagen County (Danish: K?enhavns Amt) is a county in central Denmark, located on the island of Zealand, covering the municipalities in metropolitan Copenhagen except Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. The total area is 526 km², and as of 2003, there were 618,000 inhabitants.
