Casti Connubii

Casti Connubii was a
papal encyclical promulgated by
Pope Pius XI in
1930. It stressed the sanctity of marriage, and prohibited
Roman Catholics from using any form of artficial
birth control, and reaffirmed the prohibiton on
abortion.
