Calamity James

Calamity James is a fictional character who first appeared in the British comic book Beano in the mid 1980's. Created by the Leo Baxendale-influenced Tom Patterson (of Sweeny Toddler fame), James is, apparently, the unluckiest boy in the world. He has a pet lemming, Alexander, and is usually seen with a black rain cloud floating above his head.
