Bölkow was a German aircraft manufacturer based in Stuttgart.
The company was founded in 1948 by Ludwig B?kow.
Later he merged with the Messerschmitt AG to Messerschmitt-B?kow, and then the Messerschmitt-B?kow-Blohm. It was finally bought by Daimler in the early 1990s.
