Big cats

The Big Cats term is used to refer to the Wild cats of the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Australia and Antarctica have no species of big cats.

• Jaguar (South America)
• Leopard (Africa)
• Lion (Africa, Gir lion in Asia)
• Lynx
• Ocelot
• Puma (other names: catamount, cougar, mountain lion, painted cat) (North and South America)
• Tiger (Asia)
