Battle of Harlaw

The Battle of Harlaw was fought near Aberdeen in Northeast Scotland, July, 1411. Donald of the Isles (MacDonnell) and his invading Highlanders were defeated. Professor Child collected and published a ballad The Battle of Harlaw that remembers this event (No. 163).
