Alfons Maria Jakob (

1931) was a
German neurologist. He was the first to recognize and describe Alper's disease and
Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (the latter with
Hans Gerhard Creutzfeldt) and helped greatly in the description of various other neurological illnesses.\n
