?reacht: The name of the cabinet or ministry in the D?l Constitution passed by the First D?l of the Irish Republic in January 1919. Consisted of a Priomh ?re (or prime minister, also called 'President of D?l ?reann') and ministers. The Pr?mh ?re was upgraded to President of the Republic (ie, full head of state) by a constitutional amendment proposed by Eamon de Valera and adopted by D?l ?reann in August 1921.

The ?reacht and the entire republican system of government was replaced by the Irish Free State in 1922.
